Nightstands II

A person's night stand  or bedside table is a portrait of themselves. I am fascinated with the objects we keep on these small, personal spaces and what our night stands say about us.

P.s. Mine is wonderfully cluttered, and I love it!!

Anyone who reads this is invited to participate by sending me a photo of your own night stand. Leave a comment if you don't have my contact information.

Yeah, the lava lamps have to be explained.

Well, getcha one. :p

What? Must lava lamps now be explained? (There's one in the room in the top photo, too. It just wasn't on the nightstand.)

And fj, why did you remove your nightstand photo?

I expect you to participate in my next project. ;-)

It seems that everybody else has more on their nightstands than I do!

PS: I love lava lamps.

Thersites,
Did I get to see the photo of your nightstand?

Sorry, Aow. I took it down shortly after posting it, as it showed just how disorganized and disheveled my lifestyle truly is.... burnt out lightbulb, IPod speakers falling off the nightstand and held in place only by leaning against the wall, empty lotion and medication bottles, and dust a good quarter inch deep. I only posted it on a dare.

AOW, I feel much better when my surroundings are neat and sparse, but it rarely happens. :-)

And I love lava lamps, too. My cousin had one, but I never did. I guess that's why I got them for my kids.

We all did it on a dare.

There was dust on mine, too, and it was hard to leave the clutter on the nightstand.

Thersites,
My nightstand is neat. Not so my office!

Clutter is the sign of a great mind, right?
Thersites said…
...sure... THAT's it! ;)

In my case, however, I must admit that clutter represents a knowledge that no one but me will experience it, and judge me ill because of it.

... Mrs. FJ representing "Grace" personified. ;)

Redundant, my friend. "Grace" [with capital G] itself is personified. ;)
