So... you're on your horse riding at full speed. There's a chasm on your right, and a giraffe on your left. You turn around and notice a lion right behind you. How do you escape?

A- Stop the carousel and get off.

lol. I see the horses are at full speed somewhere else as well, i.e., in your mind. ;) Clever! :)

Did you ask Mr. Bulldog for that shot?

Really like the shot of the top of the swing ride. Dramatic contrast.

You do amazingly well with Black/white....I'm going to send you the shots from the 'real' Ok'fest in Munich....look for it in your email :-) Taken by my stepkids. They're so banal in color I can't tell you. But fun to look at.

I did ask him, Ducky...but he only spoke German.
:p

I like that shot too. Thanks! I wanted to ride, but the guy said it would start, but they wouldn't be able to stop it. I decided against it.

Thank you, Z!
I really love color, but I'm not very good at developing it at home just yet.
Thanks for the REAL Oktoberfest photos, loved looking at them. They know how to do it right!

Jen, the top shot i intriguing.

What are they doing?
Jen said…
They're prospecting for gold and gem stones.

Ducky, what lens do you use on the train / subway?

I like the shot of the banjo player.

I'm almost always sitting directly across from the mark and use a 60mm.

I don't really care about field depth so I can use a pretty wide aperture and
a shutter speed quick enough to use when the train is bouncing around.
I generally rest the camera on my knee.

I thought the banjo player looked a little like Tiny Tim.
He was playing a 1920's Vega and we chatted a while.

..."the mark"?

Ever run the "big Con"? ;)

I should have asked first.

Might as well have.
Simple shot but I really like the vibe.

That's a fun shot!
Looks like they caught you and didn't attempt to punch your lights out. ;-)
