This little road trip across Texas gave me an opportunity to see with fresh eyes. The top photo was taken in Ft. Worth.
The middle photo was at a car dealership next to a gas station. That giant flag caught my attention. It seemed...odd. Gratuitous, maybe? At a car dealership??
The bottom photo is my favorite. I can't remember the name of the town, but it had a great atmosphere. Very colorful and quite cheerful, I thought. The doughnut shop was closed, unfortunately, otherwise the trip would've been even sweeter. (ugh. I know.)

Sounds like the flag accomplished it's purpose. Now if only it could have induced you to buy a car... American?

To take a photo?

I couldn't buy an American car there. It was a Hyundai dealership. :P

DONUTS !!!

Large iced, skim only and a whole wheat bagel toasted, cream cheese on the side.

They have it ready when they see me walk through the door.

Sounds pretty good Duck.

Except for the iced coffee. Irish coffee...skip the donut. ;-)

Ducky can't help that he was born a yankee.

We mustn't hold that against him.
