The family vacation. 

It's a crucible. 

Thankfully the laughter outweighed the frustration. After repeatedly reminding everyone around me that "nobody's going to die", I heard my daughter whispering the same refrain in my ear one particularly exhausting evening.

I think it's funny that a woman who loves nothing more than being alone has found herself surrounded by three children and a husband. And she wonders, "Did I create this? Or is this creating me?"
