Abandoned Barn
Looks like this smart phone camera has light leaks!

Abandon barns used to be one of my dad's favorite painting subjects... of course, he never was one to get the colours right...

Maybe he saw them in those colors ... his "impressions".

Abandoned buildings are always interesting to me. I wonder why.

FJ, I've seen that painting on your blog before but I didn't know it was your father's! Very nice. :-)

I've always been drawn to them too, AOW. A few years back, I went into an old abandoned house and scared myself witless. I'll look for those photos...

@Jen Nifer:

Funny! Boycotting PS is to late now.

" I shoot 35 mm and 120 as well as Polaroid."

Where do you get Polaroid film...? I have 3 SX70 folding cameras...no film.

And I still have some shots of abandoned farm houses I shot back in the late 70's! I've always been drawn to them. I used to shoot them in B&W and use Marshalls Photo Colors to hand color them!

Did you check out that photo app link I left for Ducky to use with your IPhone?

Gimme a link for SX70 film??

@AOW:

Nice site for photos...looks like the "grunge" look using HDR that has taken hold...I use Photomatix Pro.

Imp, welcome! I have a sx 70 but the film is too expensive. Check it out...

I use a Polaroid 250 land camera. They're easy to find and cheap. I get the film on Amazon for $8.50.

Other than instant, I use a Yashica and develop the film at home. I also love my old Minolta Maxxim. My best DSLR is a Nikon d90, which is ancient in camera-years. :(

I just got my first smartphone, too. It's a Samsung Galaxy Ohio, so I don't think that app will work. But man, the camera on this phone sux.

Anyway, I'm all over the place right now and it may take me years to develop my style.
