Happy Easter

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. I Corinthians 13:12

Very cool image. Almost looks like a blurred Christmas ornament or Easter egg.

And sunset? Kinda reminds me of my seagoing days searching for the green flash.
ps - There's a bright coppery/ metallic look/ feel to the image as well. Nicely done.

Thanks FJ. Interesting about the green flash, I've never read about it before.

A belated Kawanio che Keeteru, FJ.

I've really been awol lately.
Got a bit of sad news this am. Beamish passed back in January. His obit, here...
...for we have truly become inmates of the panopticon.

In the 2010 photo, everyone is joyous. In 2017, they're now all "anxious".

That is a sad shock! He was fairly young.
Yes he was. I'll miss him. He was both a one-time great friend, and a one-time arch nemesis, but in all cases, I found him a person of great integrity. And I admired him, even if we weren't always on the best of terms. He was commenting at my blog almost up until the day he died. He will be missed. I still have many fond memories.

I have fond memories too, mixed with an intense amount of regret.

Was he ill?

Thank you for letting me know. Isn't it something how people cross paths, be it in person or not, and have a profound affect on the trajectory of your life?

It may be naive of me, but I hate to leave any relationship on bad terms. In this case I don't know how it could've been any different.

Anyway, our friendship ultimately led me to a crisis, which then led to a rebirth of sorts. And for that I am forever grateful.
I don't know how he passed. His funeral page and obit was silent on the subject. But regardless, I'll always imagine him going down fighting, and throwing sarcastic insults at whatever force he eventually succumbed to, with "Tool's Lateralus" blasting in the background.
