Its about a female photographer Gerda Taro and her life partner Robert Capa who both died in a war in the mid 20th century. Gerda died during tbe Battle of Brunete while Robert died several years later in 1954 by stepping on a land mine. The song Taro describes the events and the reunion of the two in the afterlife...
Sorry to have not commented, fj, somehow I missed these. Yes, I saw a recent article about Gerda Taro and it made me think of this song. I'm amazed at the presence of mind war photographers must have had in those days, to use such demanding equipment under those circumstances.
