Edmund Teske!!!
These "discoveries" make me so happy and excited. Excited, really, because it motivates me to get back into the darkroom. How is it that this photographer isn't one of the big names mentioned in every Photo 101 class?
Anyway, check out the "duotone solarizations" and the "abstractions" galleries. AMAZING.

I've seen him before! I think his developing business is called "Found Film" or something like that. It's great that he takes the time to salvage those images.
Happy New Year.
Isn't Teske's work fascinating? He was experimental in the darkroom, which I love, and his method of stacking the negatives to achieve a deeper meaning is amazing.
p.s. I'm contemplating going to upstate NY this summer to learn tintype. eeeeek!!
Lucky to be able to get a plumber the other day when the main water supply froze. Never seen it this cold for a sustained period.
We are being treated to moderate temps today before a storm tomorrow.
Total suckage but that's a New England winter.
I recommend Joni Sternbach.
