So here's the deal: My desktop is dying. It's old and won't run any editing software. Also, my film scanner died. So for the past year or so I've been shooting film but not scanning it (or developing it!). I bought this Lomo Smart Phone Scanner just to play with and see if it would produce decent images that I could post.

Here are my preliminary results:

There are so many things going on here....I'm using film AND developer that I've never used before, I'm using a "smart phone scanner" that is far inferior to a good film scanner. But this is temporary until I decide what new computer and film scanner I want.

IT FELT SO GOOD TO DEVELOP FILM AGAIN!  (Why do I put off doing what is so rewarding and fulfilling?)

It may not be great, but it's not terrible! ;)

Besides, I love the "critical distance" B&W establishes. Colour often becomes almost too "close", too "personal" (One of Lincoln's assassins).
btw - I'm mocking mr. ducky with this avatar/web-page for doxxing a blogger. Don't mind the messenger. -FJ

I'll take not terrible for the time being.

wow. Amazing what color does to an old image like that. It really does humanize the object. I guess that's why we prefer him to be b/w? (less human...) (he was handsome, too!)

So you're up to your old games again, eh? ;-)
What's doxxing?? I'll google it...

oh...
that's not cool.
Ducky must be suffering from PTSD. (Post Trump Stress Disorder) :p
I'm sure he has his reasons. I just probably don't agree with them since he's gone all Septa Unella! ;)
...after all. That's MY job".

I've never watched Game of Thrones, so I don't know these characters. I'm guessing she's some sort of evil "shaming" nun?

Do you need a little more goofy in your life, FJ?

Ok here goes.

What do you call a pig that does karate?

A pork chop.

Why should you never write with a dull pencil?

Because it's pointless.

Your kids have been telling jokes again, I see... ;)
