Is the line for the Halal Guys, or were the Halal Guys just taking advantage of a line?

The guy in the suit reminds me of the days I was doing an Intership downtown. Downtown was a "food desert" in '78 after closing time. I worked in a bldg at 60 Broad Street (MTL) about a block from the Wall Street bull.

FJ, the line was FOR The Halal Guys, and it was there ALL the time. I think they are open from 10 am to 2 am, or something crazy like that.

I didn't know you worked in Manhattan! We saw the Wall Street Bull, and the tourists were taking some real classy photos. :p (why???) I'm trying to remember if there were any food trucks when we went downtown, and I can't remember any.

If I get to go back, I'm going to stay in Brooklyn. I thought we'd have plenty of time to visit and eat there, but we just ran out of time and we were so exhausted. I didn't even get to eat in Little Italy! :(

Not even a slice of pizza? NYC has the best pizza in the world! Nothing beats a slice of plain cheese, folded in half so as to keep the cheese from burning the roof of your mouth...

And I only did an internship in Manhattan. I had an accident my Second Class year, hurt my hand and couldn't go back to sea before the start of the next term so I did a couple of weeks at Marine Transport Lines to finish out my "Sea Year". It was "enlightening". I even got to take a tour of the QE2 when she came into port. Beautiful ship!

The first time we were there (Manhattan), we had some good pizza late at night, after we walked around Ground Zero. That was in March 2002.

Very cool that you toured the QE2! She has a very interesting history. I've never been on a cruise ship...

I wanted to tour the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum while we were there...but ran out of time!

You can't see everything. And I did spend a little time on a banana boat cruise ship once...

that's got to be the most beautiful pic of the State of Liberty I've ever seen.
Great stuff, Jen.

Thank you Z!!
We were on a boat, and I got lucky with the sunset.
Funny....my daughter was taking photos with her camera, and when we got to the hotel we compared shots. She took the exact same one of the Statue of Liberty.
